High barrier industries provide the benefit of what we like to call organizational bloat. Since there aren't new entrants constantly innovating and putting new business models to market, controlling companies get very complacent. Customers often have much to say about offerings/service but at the end of the day they don't really have a choice because the vendor pool is so limited. We see this as an opportunity for disruption.

Quintero Enterprises soon diversified into a private holdings/investment firm deploying in-house capital.
